The eternal quest for the perfect gift

I cannot believe that we are so near to Christmas!!! and yes, as you can tell I am a huge fan and not just because the gifts and the food, is because of this feeling of bounding with that people that matters to you, because of this moment of introspection that I assume everybody takes in order to take a look what have happened over the last year and all this thing about the good will on mankind, is just this feeling that there still be good people.

In the end this is the perfect moment of the year to say things like: Thanks, I admire you, I love you and (why not) I am sorry; I really like to say these things not only with words so I would like to share here with you some of the ideas of gifts that I liked the most miaus and not necessarily just for Christmas.

No puedo creer que estemos tan cerca de Navidad!!!! y sí, como podrán darse cuenta soy una gran fan y no solamente por los regalos y la comida, es por este sentimiento de union con las personas que te importan, por esos momentos de introspección que asumo que todos toman para dar una mirada a lo que ha pasado durante el último año y todo esto de la buena voluntad de la humanidad, es solamente este sentimiento de que aun hay buenas personas.

Al final este es el momento perfecto del año para decir cosas como: Gracias, Te admiro, Te quiero y (porqué no) Perdón; a mi me gusta decir estas cosas no solo con palabras por lo que aquí les comparto algunas de las ideas de regalos que mas me han gustado miaus y que no son necesariamente navideños.

When I was at college I really needed a laptop to work with and study, I cannot buy one and it cost me travels to do homework at university on weekends it was awful 😦 so when my boyfriend give me the most nice MacBook Pro he does not only solve many of my problems, he also make me happy for long time after I receive the present; I was finally able to do homework anytime from home and the most important thing is he also give me a strong message:
-I believe in you and in your dreams-.So if you want to show somebody that you want to make them happy for a while and you are with them look for something that is missing on their life that you can bring.

Cuando estaba en la universidad realmente necesitaba una laptop para trabajar y estudiar, no podia pagar una y eso me contaba viajes a la universidad en fines de semana para hacer tarea, era terrible 😦 por lo que cuando mi novio me dio la mas linda MacBook Pro no solamente soluciono muchos de mis problemas, me hizo feliz por mucho tiempo después de que recibí el regalo; por fin era capaz de hacer tarea en cualquier momento desde casa y lo mas importante es que el ademas me dio un mensaje muy fuerte:
-Creo en ti y en tus sueños-Por lo tanto si quieres mostrarle a alguien que quieres hacerl@ feliz por un buen rato y que estas con el o ella busca que es lo que les falta en la vida que tu puedas traerles.

My sister is traveling all the time because of her work and she naturally love my cats: Quesadilla, Lua and Nana. She would love to have a cat at home but she knows it would be a bad idea because she is always on the go and cannot take care property of any pet so I take advantage on this when I found a local company that makes custom pillows with any pet pic, it seems like the perfect present for her! Her favourite cats on pillows so she cat have “my cats” at her home <3. The photo shoot session with the cats was difficult because just Lua liked the camera and Quesadilla and Nana ran all over the house but in the end we get some nice pics.

If you know something very specific that person likes try to find the way to have a special detail for them related to that thing, getting their initials on clothes or even a suitcase are also pretty nice stuff to personalise.

Also if you are interested on pillows you can contact with Mama Miusha on Facebook and I am recommending this truly from my heart and not as publicity, they are great with pets.

Mi hermana viaja todo el tiempo por su trabajo y naturalmente ama a mis gatas: Quesadilla, Lua y Nana. Le encantaría tener un gato en casa pero sabe que es una mala idea porque siempre anda de un lado a otro y ni podría cuidar apropiadamente de una mascota por lo que vi una oportunidad en esto cuando encontré una empresa local que hace almohadas personalizadas con cualquier foto de tus mascotas, esto me pareció el regalo perfecto para ella!. Sus gatos favoritos en almohadas para poder tener a “mis gatos” en su casa <3. La sesión de fotos con los gatos fue difícil porque solamente a Lua le gusta la cámara pero Quesadilla y Nana se la pasaron corriendo por toda la casa, al final si sacamos unas buenas fotos.

Si sabes de algo muy especifico que le guste a esa persona trata de encontrar la manera de darles un detalle especial relacionado a esa cosa, poner sus iniciales en ropa o hasta una maleta son cosas padres de personalizar.

For good or for bad, this never fails :/. Indeed for those ones that you know are very picky or simply difficult to please just go to the safe area and buy something that scream: -I really matter about you because I spend a lot of time working to get you this-. You know some people never changes.

Para bien o para mal, esto nunca falla :/. Ciertamente para aquellos que sabes que son muy especiales o simplemente difíciles de complacer simplemente ve a la segura y compra algo que grite: -Realmente me importas porque pase mucho tiempo trabajando para traerte esto-. Ustedes saben, algunas personas nunca cambian.

De cualquier forma pueden enviarme una speedy bandolier 30 de LV cuando quieran ;).

Whenever my brother, sister or me are very grateful with somebody we make a dinner or at least a dessert. This is another basic that always works and I am not talking just about the food; take some time and plan a really nice dinner you know: plan a menu with cool dishes, use that special plates, wine glasses and do not forget candles and centrepiece for table made of flowers; wear elegant and make a small cozy event to tell that special person how important is for you.

Siempre que mi hermano, mi hermana o yo estamos muy agradecidos con alguien hacemos cenas o al menos un postre. Este es otro básico que siempre funciona y no estoy hablando solo de comida; tomate tu tiempo y planea una cena linda ustedes saben: planea un menu con platillos padres, usa esos platos especiales, copas de vino y no olvides las velas con centros de mesa de flores; vístete elegante y haz un pequeño e intimo evento para decirle a esa persona especial lo importante que es para ti.

The most valuable present you can give is yourself. For some people, the one that love you the most, gifts are not about stuff, gifts became the meaning of what we do everyday: our propose to be a better version of ourself, the promise to take care of our health, enjoy life, keep together and love each other… those are the most important kind of gifts <3.

Don’t take to much time on shopping and better buy online XD and look for a real good present to express exactly what you want to say miaus.

El regalo mas valioso que puedes dar eres tu mismo. Para algunas personas, las que te quieren mas, los regalos no son cosas materiales, los regalos se vuelven el significado de lo que hacemos cada día: nuestro propósito de ser una mejor version de nosotros mismos, la promesa de cuidar de nuestra salud, disfrutar la vida, mantenernos unidos y querernos los unos a los otros… esos son los regalos mas importantes <3.

No pasen mucho tiempo de compras y mejor compren en linea XD y busquen por el verdadero regalo para expresar exactamente lo que quieren decir miaus.
